Brayden was such a little cutie!  We had a beautiful day to roll around in the grass and take photos of this handsome lil man!  He didn't care at all about photos at first, but he warmed up after a little while!  Enjoy this little guy!!

It was a beautiful day last Sunday.....wandering around the family farm, finding great places to take cute little Suri's one year photos!  Suri wasn't a big fan of having her photos taken, but by the end of the shoot she was smiling!  I absolutely adored her birthday dress....the photos with the balloons are some of my faves!  Soooo cute!!

Dana and I had lots of fun walking around Muskegon finding great spots for some photos.  It was a beautiful day.....not too cold, not too hot!  Perfect.  Dana is going to be a 2011 senior rep for us this year in Grant....along with her boyfriend, Daniel (our nephew!).  I am super excited for this year's senior photos to start....seniors are always up for anything...coming with great style and ideas of their own!  Just like Dana was......

1-What is your favorite color?   Blue

2-What is your dream job?    Dream job would have to be...well to tell you the truth, I don't really know. I know that sounds funny... But I just don't.

3-If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?  If I could go anywhere it would be Australia :)

4-What is your fave thing to do in the summer?    In the summer I love playing softball and hanging out with my family and friends. :)

5-What is your favorite clothing accessory?  Hmm...... I would have to say that just a simple cross necklace does the trick for me..haha. But most of the time I dont wear any accessories.

6-What was your favorite part about your photo shoot?  My favorite thing about the shoot was how many places we found that were amazing! And of course the photographer made it alot of fun as well ;)

What a beautiful couple Sarah and Brandon are.....  Sarah is Joe's sister, so we are so excited to be able to document their engagement and July wedding.  Sarah will make a stunning bride!  The day these photos were taken was beautiful...until we got to the beach.  It was way cold and the wind was crazy.  We took as many photos in as little of time as possible and we ended up with lots of great ones!  I can't wait to make these pics into a super cute guest book for their big day!

We were so blessed with a gorgeous day for Dalton & Tiffany's engagement session.  I was a little worried at first when we arrived to the park b/c the weeds were taking over the nice green grass.  We decided to work with it and ended up with some fun and unique photos!  Thanks for being so great to work with....we had lots of fun!

Sam is an old friend that I used to work with.....we were beyond thrilled when she contacted me for her wedding and engagement photos!  She actually was a bridesmaid in our first wedding ever!!!  It was great to finally meet Chris.....I had heard so much about him, but was finally able to put a face to a name!  We had a great time at Branstrom Park...finding little pockets of great lighting and cool spots to shoot in.  Chris couldn't stop talking about wanting tacos for lunch...so guess what Joe and I had to eat for lunch.....you are right....TACOS!!

Derek & Kate were lots of fun to be around!  It was a beautiful day wandering around downtown Grand Rapids for their engagement session.  It was a little windy, but we made the best of it!  We had a great time getting to know them a little better and going over wedding plans at TGI Fridays.  Their wedding date will be here before you know it..........we cannot wait!!!

August 15, 2010!

I had so much fun Tracy and her friend Katy!  The entire session was non-stop laughing.....which is always fun!  It was my first time going to the Gaslight Village in East Grand Rapids and I loved it!  The town was unique and was a five minute walk away to a beautiful lake!  The sun was shining bright and the day was perfect.......except for battling the wind! We ended up with lots of great shots for her to choose from!!

We had a blast in California a couple of weeks ago.  We had lots of time to play, relax and work, all which we enjoy.  Yes, I said "we enjoy working..."!  We are so fortunate to be see and do so many things...........and beyond blessed to be given the opportunities that are given to us!  Needless to say, we are thankful. 

In California we had lots of adventures on our agenda, including: Sea World, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, touring a huge aircraft carrier and going to Hollywood!  We also had the great opportunity to photograph Miranda's boudoir session , Bre & Rusty's engagement session and Bre & Rusty's beautiful wedding!

To say that we were excited would be an understatement.  We were absolutely thrilled when Bre and Rusty asked us to come out and photograph their engagement and wedding in beautiful Temecula, CA.  I don't mean...yeah...we are excited....I am talking about running around the house, jumping up and down, trying to tell Joe the news...but he understands none of it..... EXCITED!  Not only was I excited to go to California and take wedding photos in an absolutely different, amazingly gorgeous, once-in-a-lifetime destination, but I was also excited to see old high school friends! (Enough of our excitement...on to the couple!)

Rusty and Bre were such an amazing couple.....their love was so easy to see..  Bre constantly smiling at the sight of Rusty, and Rusty not being able to take his eyes off of Bre....the way it is supposed to be.  True Love.  Forever.

The wedding was a breathtaking event....with every last detail in place.  Bre and Rusty did an amazing job making their day even more beautiful than it already was....not to mention the amazing weather that someone from above sent to us :)

I was so excited when Karri contacted me about Brooklynn's 6 month photos!  Karri and her husband, Kevin, are special to us because they were the first wedding that we ever shot!  It was great to see that they have started their family and be able to catch up!

Brooklynn was such a little sweetheart!  It was a little difficult keeping her attention, but when we did, we captured some great smiles and laughs!

I love having the abillity to show women how beautiful they are....b/c no one really gives themselves enough credit for who they are!  This is exactly what these types of sessions are for!  (and to show off for the hubby a little...)

We were sooo fortunate to be able to shoot three sessions while in California....this being one of them!  I have been wanting to do a boudoir session for quite some time, so when Miranda called I was beyond thrilled!  She was even nice enough to give us a mini tour of the area...showed us some of the best redtuarants and secret coffee shops!  We loved it!!

Miranda is a beautiful person...inside and out!  Thanks for taking the time to show us around Miranda!  We hope you LOVE the photos...b/c you rocked them!

We felt so honored to be able to photograph Bre and Rusty's engagement and wedding in beautiful California last week!  The weather was beautiful, the scenery was breathtaking and the couple was amazing!  What a fantastic way to spend a day.....roaming around wine country with one old and one new friend, taking in views of the mountains, chatting and trying new foods! 

It was so nice to see this couple so in love.  Bre was gorgeous......Rusty wasn't too bad himself, which makes for some amazing photos!  Enjoy the preview below......you won't be able to wait to view the wedding post!!

Aren't the mountains beautiful?

Yeah!  Finally....our new lens has arrived.  It seemed like forever waiting for this new guy to show up on our doorstep!  We are one step closer to having our complete set of camera equipment!  May I say "YEAH" one more time...please?  It was perfect timing because today we are heading off to Chicago for an early flight tomorrow morning.....destination....San Diego!

We are so excited to document Bre's wedding day to Rusty!  Bre is an old high school friend, and I cannot wait to meet up with her for some fun photos, including an engagement shoot in wine country!

This lil' baby girl was one of the cutest, sweetest babies ever.  It was a rainy day which spoiled our plans of taking some fun outdoor shots, but we still ended up having a fun time.  Her big, beautiful eyes just pull you in.......  What a doll!  Jake and Ali are proud parents of this lil' one......how could they not be?
