What a cute family! I had so much fun taking photos of these two cute little girls! It was a little too chilly to take too many photos outside, but we snuck a couple in there! I was so excited when Niki contacted me about doing some maternity photos. Niki and my sister were due almost on the same day....and after seeing my sister's maternity photos, Niki decided that she definitely wanted some! I am so glad that she did!!! What a special time in your life!! It was hot, as was every day this summer, but we got out there anyways and had some fun! Niki is only a few weeks from her due date here.......and she looks great!!

Josh and Katie had a beautiful wedding day surrounded by family and friends.....and we were lucky enough to be a part of it! The weather was quite hot, but we toughed it out and went outside for as many photos as possible! (It may be hot during the pics....but afterwards it is so worth it!!!) Josh and Katie's wedding was vintage-themed.....which I loved! There were so many details....including an old camera which I thought was way cool!!! We used a lot of black and white and vintage-tones for this wedding which was totally fitting with the theme!!!

I had so much fun taking maternity photos with Michelle and Jerid! I have known Michelle's family for years, so it is always exciting and fun to watch their family expand with new little ones! I cannot wait to meet little Brooklyn! She is gonig to be such a cutie I am sure!! Her nursery was decorated so cute with her name in frames on the wall and hand-painted trees! Derek & Kate had a gorgeous summer wedding surrounded by their family and friends! We had so much fun getting to know this couple and traveling around Muskegon taking photos of them on their wedding day. Olivia and I had so much fun walking around finding great spots for her senior photos. She was super easy to work with and super photogenic....which of course I love! We ventured out into three different locations for her pics: downtown Muskegon, PJ Hoffmaster beach and The Shack! All different in their own ways, but very gorgeous locations. The weather was perfect too.......how did we get so lucky? Here are some (or lots) of my faves from her sessions!
I had lots of fun with Cody....we weren't sure the weather was going to hold out...but it went in our favor! I love all of the red in Cody's pics.....he is graduating from Fremont High School where I went to school! Cody loves sports, so the baseball field seemed very fitting for his senior session. Destiny is such a sweet and gorgeous girl. We had lots of fun walking around taking photos with her horse Tyson.....he didn't have as much fun though. 2-What are your hobbies/fave things to do? I enjoy swimming (competitive and for fun), reading, fishing, riding horses, hanging out with friends, singing, running, taking and working with pictures.
3-What would be your dream career? My dream career would be a photographer ;) or a dolphin trainer.
4-What is your fave store to shop at? My fave store to shop at is American Eagle.
5-What was your fave thing about your photo session? My favorite thing was when Tyson reared up......haha JUST KIDDING! I liked dressing up and having fun out in the field.

"Any day now"...is what they keep on telling me. Well....any day now seems like forever!! Jill is my sister and is pregnant with my sweet little niece. I cannot wait to meet this little girl.....I want to give her lots of kisses and take millions of photos of her! You will definitely be seeing her on the blog every few months for the next year!! Jill, Brian and I went out into the national forest near our parents home for these photos. I had never been to this location before and instantly fell in love! I would have to say this is one of my faves!
Keep an eye out in the next week or so for some photos of the newborn.....she will be here ANY DAY NOW!!

I loved working with Ashley! She was fun...gorgeous...and very photogenic......I couldn't ask for more! The weather was great and the location was even better. I love photographing people in anything country....fields, barns, old trees, etc! We had lots of fun.....and then Ashley saw a snake! Good thing I didn't see it b/c I may just have had a heart attack! She just says......Oh....there's a snake. I was thinking: "You go girl...for not being scared" when all I wanted to do was run to my car and lock the doors with the windows rolled up!! We still managed to get some great shots, even though I was shaking through the last few :)

Justin and Amber had a beautiful wedding on a beautiful summer day! The morning started early with the ladies having their hair done and the men playing a round of golf.....Joe and I were fortunate enough to be able to be a part of both parts of the day! This wedding was so much fun....we enjoyed every minute of it! The couples' families and friends made us feel so welcome and made us love our jobs even more!
