Rusty & Elishia had a beautiful September wedding day!  The weather cooperated, the details were beautiful and everyone had lots of fun!  Their wedding took place at a small church in Stanwood and their reception was held at the Big Rapids Holiday Inn.  We had lots of fun going around to different locations with this group and taking photos!!  As always, there are too many to post, but here are the favorites!!

I had lots of fun with this gorgeous family!  Courtney is a good friend from high school, so I was so excited when she said that she would be visiting Michigan from Wisconsin where she currently lives!  It was great to be able to catch up this April at Bre and Rusty's wedding in California that we photographed......where Courtney was a bridesmaid!  Their two little ones are so cute and full of life...Lexi was a tough one to crack...and only daddy could make her smile :)  Here are my favorites from their session!!

 

The plan was to meet at one of my fave locations in Muskegon on a quiet, low-traffic Sunday afternoon....but we didn't plan on a festival to be going on!  We were lucky enough to have my favorite alley far enough away from the festival to use......and the results turned out great!  Dan is my nephew...so I was really excited when he said he wanted some pics with his drumset!  As you will see....he loves music and incorporated it into almost all of his photos!  Here are my faves from the day!!

 

We had a beautiful evening for Kelly & Desirae's engagement session.  The weather was warm, the sun was hidden and there were tons of neat places around Desirae's family's property for photos!  Some of my favorites are the ones on the dirt road :)  We cannot wait for their wedding next year at the barn in New Era!  It should be beautiful!!!

 

Christopher and Nicole had a gorgeous wedding on a not-so-gorgeous September day.  The ceremony and reception were planned for outdoors, but the rain had other ideas.  Luckily, the rain stopped just long enough for us to take some photos and have the beautiful ceremony.  Here are some of the wedding day stats:

We went to downtown Grand Rapids for Destiny's second photo session.  I love this location for photos b/c there is so much to choose from!  Old buildings, new buildings, alleys, the river, cool bridges, bright colors, etc!  We ended up with lots of great shots from this session.....mainly b/c Destiny is absolutely gorgeous and photogenic!  Here aer some of my faves for the beautiful afternoon!!

The weather was perfect..the beach was quiet..Aurora and Larah looked super cute..what great conditions for an amazing session!  I had so much fun getting to know Aurora, Larah, their husbands and their mother.  Aurora and Larah are sisters.....and with due dates only days apart....there was much to talk about!  Here are my faves from their session!

 

We had a gorgeous fall evening for this cute family session!  The trees were full of apples and the sun was going down.  Perfect!!  This family is such a beautiful family....you may have seen them on the blog several times before...  Sarah just happens to be my sister-in-law, so I may be a little biased :)  I hope you enjoy the previews!!!

Gideon is so cute....he is one of those kids that makes you happy to be around...always smiling!!

Mike and Cara had a beautiful wedding day surrounded by family and friends.  The temperature was a little warm, but ended up being perfect later in the day.  We had so much fun going to the golf course and taking photos with this group.  They were non-stop fun the entire time!  I have known this couple for quite some time......Cara and Mike dated in high school, so it was great being able to see them tie the knot and be a part of their day!!  We had a blast!

Camp Newaygo is such a gorgeous place for a wedding!

I love these ceremony photos....it is so pretty with all of those gorgeous trees in the background!  They walked down the aisle after being announced Mr & Mrs to the U of M fight song....love it!!
