Ken &  Holly had a GORGEOUS fall wedding day!!  We have had so much fun getting to know this couple over the past year and felt so fortunate to be able to be their wedding photographers!  We feel so blessed being able to do work that we love and make some great friends in the process!!

There were so many beautiful details that I totally fell in love with!  Holly was an absolutely stunning bride......who was happy the ENTIRE day!  It was so nice to see her have so much fun!  I tried to narrow down my favorites...but it was so difficult!  This will definitely be the longest blog post to date!!

This family is such a sweet family!  It was lots of fun (and work :)  ) photographing this family!!  The location was beautiful and the light was ah-ma-zing!!  I always try to get a couple family photos right off the bat before the lil ones get too grumpy....so we ended up with a few very nice ones!!  Emma wanted nothing to do with having her photo taken....which translated into me chasing her around snapping photos whenever possible.  We still ended up with some really fun playing shots :)  Here are my faves from the session!!

Suri is such a sweet little girl.  I had the great opportunity to photograph this little doll earlier this year.......  She isn't a huge fan of having her photo taken, but she still seemed to have some fun!  She is such a daddy's girl...as you will see in the photos and just wanted to keep on playing!!

 

I love this family!  When starting my photography business, I photographed Darion's older sister, Ashley.  And again....I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with this family again!  Darion, Kelly (Darion's mother) and I walked around the Shack Country Inn finding neat little unique spots for photos....there was just so much to choose from there!!  It was a little chilly...but I always think that is better than being too hot!!

We were lucky enough to find this cool railroad background....it looks like it was set up just for us!  Darion's grandfather worked for the railroad, so it was special to her and Kelly!

Andy & Sarah had a beautiful October wedding day.  They were surrounded by only their closest friends and family and we felt so blessed to be a part of it!  The food was delicious, the details were perfect and the couple was lots of fun!!  We just love days like this!!  They were able to incorporate their wine theme in almost everything they did....which made for beautiful decorations.

Brian and Jennifer had a beautiful fall wedding in Holland a few weeks ago and we were so lucky to be a part of it!  The weather was great.....the details were beautiful and everyone seemed so happy!  I loved lots of the photos of Brian & Jenn, so below many are posted :)

I had a great time with Sean & Lauren during their engagement session!  Lauren was so excited for the session and it showed!  I love when clients are excited for photos!!!  We walked around downtown Newaygo and stopped at the river for some shots.  It was a beautiful evening with wonderful light!  I think the photos turned out great!  We are really looking forward to their wedding next summer!!

I had so much fun with Malachi!  We went to one of my favorite places in Newaygo by the river, then hopped over to the railroad tracks.  I love when clients customize their sessions by bringing their own props, etc.  It makes the session totally you!!  Malachi brought along his acoustic & electric guitars, which made for some great shots!!  Here are the ones I like best!!!

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon when we met up with Heather & Bill for their maternity shoot.  Beautiful weather always make me fall in love with my job over and over again :)  Heather is my best friend and is expecting twin girls!  I am so excited to meet them!  I bet they are going to be sooo cute!!!!

Yes.....Joe and I are expecting as well! (In case you haven't already heard...) We are due one week after Heather & Bill.....with a little girl even!  It has been lots of fun going through this pregnancy with my best friend.  I can't wait for our little girls to grow up together!!!

Joe and I will be traveling to one of our absolute favorite photographers this weekend for our maternity session!  We cannot wait to share them with you!!!

Although I live in Fremont, I have never had the chance to shoot downtown Fremont.  I was so excited when Michele, Jack's mom contacted me for a downtown Fremont senior session!  It was a little chilly, but Jack toughed it out with me and Michele......which allowed us to get lots of great shots!!  Here are some of my faves!!

 

This may be one of my favorite sessions so far!  I love everything about it.....the location, the colors, the couple!  That is why it is super long :)  I am normally a huge fan of black and white, but I didn't think that would do for this shoot.  Everything was so colorful.....the lighting was perfect....and that can only really be reflected with color photos!!  Here are my faves from the session....

This lil guy is crazy!  He has non-stop energy and is always trying to pull some pranks on his parents!  Luckily...for some odd reason, he was so good for his photo shoot.  (probably has something to do with the candy bribe by his mother...my best friend...and I)  I love the way these turned out....we are already planning a canvas collage for their home!!

Abrianne is such a beautiful little baby girl.  She was born on September 11, 2010.....a day that couldn't come soon enough!  Abrianne is my sweet little niece......her mother is my sister :)  You will see her make many blog appearances in the upcoming year......I can't wait to watch her grow!  Her big sister Kenzie is so excited to finally have her here!!  Enjoy these photos, she is a little doll!!

Chris & Nicolette had a wonderful wedding day surrounded by family and friends located at the Presbyterian Camps in Saugatuck, MI.  The weather didn't cooperate as we would have liked, but we were fortunate enough to get lots of great photos!  During the ceremony, we were sure a torrential hurricane was going to come sweeping off of our gorgeous Lake Michigan view.....but it turned into just a little rain and lots of wind!  Here is a look into their wedding day :)
