I had a blast with this couple!  They were the last photo session before starting to go on maternity leave!  How fun to end with a maternity shoot!!!  The weather was frigid....but we still had lots of fun!  Liz was brave with her 3/4 sleeve shirt and exposing her cute preggo belly!  I was probably in five layers....she must have been cold!!!  Here are some of my faves!

Aaron & Mary are super excited to welcome their little baby boy into the world in a few weeks!!  Aaron is my cousin....and when I found out the news that his wife, Mary, was pregnant....I was beyond thrilled.  Mary's due date is only 5 days after mine!!  Joe and I had so much fun (even though we were freezing) walking around my parents' property taking photos in the snow!!  Snow pics can be so much fun.....!  Here are my faves from their session!  We can't wait to meet their little man in a few weeks!!

Although my baby shower was back in October....I still wanted to share!  I am so fortunate to have so many friends and family in my life that were there to celebrate with me the upcoming arrival of our little girl!!  There was lots of great food, delicious dessert and beautiful eye candy all around the room!  My closest friends and family put so much work into this day....I truly feel blessed!!

We were so excited when Niki contacted us for family photos with their new addition!  We were lucky enough to be able to photograph their maternity session this summer....take a look here!  It was freezing outside, but we braved the cold for a few winter family shots!!

As we have posted several times.....we are expecting our first baby!  In honor of the day rapidly approaching....we decided to have a little contest :)  There will be 4 parts to this contest, each bringing a chance to win!  We plan on doing several more contests throughout the coming year......and this is a great one to start with!!!

We had so much fun with Kayleigh & Ethan!  It was freezing out....but we still ended up having an amazing time!  It was Kayleigh's birthday.....and the birthday girl did not want anything to do with photos....along with her big brother Ethan!  Until a snowball fight broke out between us and the kids!!  We just chased these two cuties around snapping photos as we played....and let me tell you....this was sure difficult being 8 months pregnant!  Enjoy these two little ones and their bright, fun faces below!!!

We are so excited to be able to share these photos with you!  We had the opportunity to travel to one of our favorite photographers in Indiana this past November.  Since we first saw their blog....we were in love!  As you know by now....we are expecting our first child this January.  Only a few weeks away!  We are so happy/nervous/excited/anxious to be first time parents!  When she arrives we will be sure to share tons of photos :)

Brayden is such a little cutie!  I was so excited when his mom called me for 15 month photos!  I was lucky enough to be able to photograph his 9 month session as well!!  I always love taking photos of children in their own homes....it makes them feel so much more comfortable and allows us to have some fun playtime!

For some reason he loved sitting on the kitchen table!

We ended up having the first snow of the year....so we ventured outside for some fun in the snow!!!

Brian & Caryn are a sweet couple and we are fortunate enough to be chosen as their wedding/engagement photographers!!  We love meeting new people.....and this time was no different!  We met Brian & Caryn in downtown Grand Rapids.....wandering the chilly streets and finding the best places for photos!  We cannot wait for their summer of 2011 wedding!!!  Here are few of our faves!!

We had a chilly, but thankfully dry fall morning.  Brad & Alicia wanted their photos in a natural, woodsy setting....and since it was right in the middle on hunting season, I was a little nervous bringing them out into the woods!  So....we decided to roam around my parents property, bright orange vest and all!  I have never taken photos back there before, so it was interesting.  I had no idea how much neat stuff they had piled up behind their house (thanks dad for not cleaning it up)!!  We are looking forward to Brad & Alicia's spring wedding this coming year!!  Here are some of my faves from that brisk session!!

This was one of the sweetest families that I have ever photographed!!  It was a freezing cold, super windy day, but we managed to have lots of fun!!  I ended up chasing Emily and Abigail around the yard for half of the session......boy was I tired!!  It always seems to be worth it though in the end  :)  !!!

This family was so sweet!  I went to high school with Jenna, so I was super excited when she contacted me for family photos!  It was so nice catching up after several years!!  John & Jenna's son was too cute.  He was full of life (and mostly a little grumpy :)  ), but ended up having lots of fun during the photos!  I was quite tired after their session from all of the chasing around I did with Owen!!  I had so many favorites, it was difficult choosing some for this post.  I hope you enjoy them!!

It was a super chilly afternoon when I met up with Cassie and her mother.  I am always dressed with lots of layers on chilly days like that.....which always makes me feel so bad for the people I am photographing.  Cassie didn't mind the cold and was up for anything.  We had a great time walking around the downtown Muskegon area....stopping at random walls and alleys, searching for the best lighting and settings.  Here are a few of my favorites from her session!!

We simply adore this family!  You may remember them from their maternity session a few months ago on the beach at Lake Michigan.  I was so excited to be able to photograph their little guy Axel.....he is so stinkin' cute!  It is always fun to be able to meet the little person that I photographed during a maternity session......who I couldn't actually "see".
