Yeah!  Finally....our new lens has arrived.  It seemed like forever waiting for this new guy to show up on our doorstep!  We are one step closer to having our complete set of camera equipment!  May I say "YEAH" one more time...please?  It was perfect timing because today we are heading off to Chicago for an early flight tomorrow morning.....destination....San Diego!

We are so excited to document Bre's wedding day to Rusty!  Bre is an old high school friend, and I cannot wait to meet up with her for some fun photos, including an engagement shoot in wine country!

Posts are always better with something to look at.....so here he is....our new lens!  (I assume the lens is a "he" b/c it is super heavy duty and super heavy to carry around.....Joe will be lugging this one around on his neck at weddings!!!)

 

This lil' baby girl was one of the cutest, sweetest babies ever.  It was a rainy day which spoiled our plans of taking some fun outdoor shots, but we still ended up having a fun time.  Her big, beautiful eyes just pull you in.......  What a doll!  Jake and Ali are proud parents of this lil' one......how could they not be?

We had a blast with Nick and Mandy.  It was a cool, overcast spring day...but turned out being great for the session!  We walked all around the downtown Grand Rapids area searching for fun and interesting places to shoot.....needless to say....we found many!  Nick and Mandy were so much fun to be around and obviously head over heels for one another!  We cannot wait for their wedding....it is going to be a blast!  And now.....some of our faves from the day!!

Andy was the happiest little baby that I have ever worked with....or met for that matter!!  I didn't hear him cry once!  What a lucky mom!!  All through the shoot he was either smiling or just hanging out......which was an absolute dream for me!  These photos were taken for his newborn session at 2 1/2 weeks...he is so big!!  I enjoyed every minute with the cute lil' guy!!
