Brett & Leslie were married yesterday!!!

Congratulations you two!!! Have fun in Mexico!
Nick and Mandy had a gorgeous natural-themed wedding this past June. The heat was pretty intense, but it ended up being a beautiful day! Their wedding was filled with lots of love and laughter....surrounded by their closest friend and family. We were so fortunate to be able to share it with them!
Nick and Mandy allowed for lots of time for photos.....so it was so difficult for me to choose shots for the blog.........there were just so many great ones!!
All of the details were so simple and elegant. Mandy's father made the benches and archway!

We expected rain, but were so lucky! No a drop till after all of the photos were done! Someone was looking out for us that day!
We had so much fun with Chris & Sam and their wonderful friends and family.....we felt so welcome all day and didn't want to leave later that night! Chris and Sam were so happy to finally become husband and wife....it was written all over their faces. Their day was perfect.....even into the night when they smashed cake into one another's face and hair and clothes and.....you get the point! We felt so fortunate to be a part of it!
Sam's matron-of-honor just happens to be the bride at our first wedding....it was great catching up! It is crazy how things have changed......(especially our style :) )
Here Karri and Kevin are on their wedding day!

I love the way a groom looks at his bride.....makes me melt every time!

They look so happy!

They are so cute!

They kept us laughing all day!

Congratulations Chris & Sam! Good luck with everything in your future together :)
To say that we were excited would be an understatement. We were absolutely thrilled when Bre and Rusty asked us to come out and photograph their engagement and wedding in beautiful Temecula, CA. I don't mean...yeah...we are excited....I am talking about running around the house, jumping up and down, trying to tell Joe the news...but he understands none of it..... EXCITED! Not only was I excited to go to California and take wedding photos in an absolutely different, amazingly gorgeous, once-in-a-lifetime destination, but I was also excited to see old high school friends! (Enough of our excitement...on to the couple!)
Rusty and Bre were such an amazing couple.....their love was so easy to see.. Bre constantly smiling at the sight of Rusty, and Rusty not being able to take his eyes off of Bre....the way it is supposed to be. True Love. Forever.
The wedding was a breathtaking event....with every last detail in place. Bre and Rusty did an amazing job making their day even more beautiful than it already was....not to mention the amazing weather that someone from above sent to us :)

We were able to capture a few more during the reception...love the lighting :)

Chris and Lindsey had a beautiful, classy wedding! All of the details were simple and gorgeous! Both families were so welcoming and amazing......it was great gettting to know them! Chris is from England and Lindsey is from Michigan......they met while Lindsey was studying abroad in England. I love these types of love stories.... All of Chris' family and close friends traveled for the wedding, which made it all the more special! The weather called for rain all day, but it hardly rained a drop.....which was probably due to all our praying during the week! All in all....the day was wonderful and happy allowing for many great memories!

And because a post is always better with some photos.....here are a few of our faves from this past year!! Enjoy!!

Adam and Toni are a very special couple to me. Adam is kinda like my brother (his mom started babysitting me when I was 6 months old, and his sister and I have been best friends ever since)! I was super excited when Toni called me about taking their wedding pics. We watched the weather all week long, forecasted to rain and be real cold.....we were nervous. After some prayers and crossing our fingers, we lucked out!! It was a comfortable overcast day (which is the best for photos).............and when the couple poured the sand together during the ceremony, the clouds opened right above them and sent down some sunlight. I think that they planned it all out :) We had a ton of fun and several locations for awesome photos.
Adam & Toni: Thank you so much for allowing Joe and I to follow you around all day :) We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed photographing your big day! We hope you enjoy the photos and wish you all the best!!!

I loved her bracelet!

The bride's bouquet was so pretty.........she even made it herself!!

All of the girls had to help Toni lift her dress over her head!!

This is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day......I always try to capture the way that the groom is looking at his bride....so sweet!

Doesn't this view remind you of the season finale of The Bachelor??

These girls were so much fun to hang out with all day! They made my job easy!

I love everything about this shot!

Toni looked gorgeous!! I love this shot of her......

Toni's daughter Brooklyn and Adam & Toni's son Adam Jr. They were so cute the entire day!

My best friend Heather in the red and another favorite, cute family of mine!!

Bride and Groom with their cute son Adam........he slept through the entire ceremony :)

The kids won!!!

The first dance.......so romantic!

The girls can have fun too!!!!!!

One more to end the post...........I don't really have much to say... :)

Kris & Pam had a gorgeous outside wedding in Grandville at Spring Grove Park. If anyone is looking for a great location to have an outdoor ceremony, this is an amazing spot!! The weather was perfect, the bride was beautiful, and love was in the air :).....what else could I ask for?
They were so in love!!!! It was so much fun walking through the Grand Valley campus where they met! It is great to take shots of the couple at locations that have a meaning to them!
At the reception, the bride and groom even sang a song about how "Opposites Attract" which had everyone in the room crying from laughter! I was laughing so hard that I almost forgot to take the pictures!!
Kris & Pam: Thanks so much for making us feel so welcome and making sure that we were taken care of all day (A special thanks goes out to Eddie for the awesome Jimmy Johns!)...... We hope you have a fabulous time in Maine!!!! -Joe & Kellie

Travis & Allison had a wonderful wedding! The day was filled with family and friends and lots of laughter. We ended up having some unfortunate rain, but headed outside to take some great photos on the golf course once it cleared!
Travis & Allison: Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your big day. We had a blast! We felt welcome with your family and friends and are very fortunate to have spent the day with you. Good luck in the future!!
Pat and Elaine were such a wonderful couple to work with.....they are so in love and were so excited to get married!! There were lots of happy tears (including my own)and tons of laughter. Pat even sang a love song to Elaine as she walked down the aisle.......there wasn't a dry eye within ten miles!
