I simply adore this family.  Annette (gorgeous girl in the blue) was one of my best friends growing up.  We had so much fun, got in a little trouble and grew to be very close!  Sometimes I just miss those days :) Her parents, Don and Mary, are so sweet.  Mary was the type of mom that would have an after school snack waiting when you walked in the door.....whether it was freshly baked cookies or peanut butter and celery, I was always happy!

Normally, with the amount of wind we had for the session, I would have rescheduled.  It was not an option this time!  Michelle, the oldest daughter, was home from Germany with her husband for Thanksgiving, so it was our only opportunity.  Thankfully, we had some luck and ended up having some great pics! 

Family photos are sooo important!  You don't need to only have young children to do family photos....it is equally important when your children grow up to be adults themselves!  I need to have my famiy do this now ......  We have closer to 30 people though, so it may be a little more difficult!

What an adorable family!  I love having the opportunity to photograph a family that I have in the past!  I was able to take pics of this sweet family last fall....and wow, have these little ladies sure grown!  I remember last year, the youngest, Sarah, was really shy and wanted nothing to do with having her photos taken.....and this year, she was so much fun!  (the weather was much nicer this year too)!

They are the cutest girls ever!

I am so lucky to be able to photograph twins so often!  These two are so cute together .... and so different!!

I love this photo!  It is the kind of picture that makes you smile....and get over your bad day!  You can just see that they love each other so much!!

I just love this family!  They are all so kind and down to earth....my kind of people!  I photographed their family a couple of years ago at this same location, but this time we ended up with very different results.  I would like to say that this is due to my increase in talent....but it mostly had to do with the gorgeous sun that we were given!  :)  It was a gorgeous evening with a gorgeous family.  I can't wait to photograph them again in the future!!

All I can say is.....what an adorable family!  These 6 were full of life, spunk and lots of energy!  It was fun interacting with the 4 kiddos ...... going from not wanting their photos taken to coming up with their own poses!  And their outfits!  I loved every one.  Jonice did a great job pulling their outfits togethers, but keeping each one in their own individual style!  Perfection!  Here are some of my favorites!

Ben and Carlie has such a fun, energetic, adorable little girl!  Riley is full of life and not a big fan of having her photo taken.  After a lot of playing and chasing....we ended up with some awesome shots!  It was so much fun to watch the three of them interact....showing Riley little bugs and trying to grab pine cones off of the trees above.  Even a game of ring-around-the-rosy.....what a wonderful way to spend an evening!!

What a sweet, adorable family!  Kristi is my cousin, so obviously you know where they get their good looks :)  I finally had the chance to meet her little ones and they are so cute!  Sammie is as sweet as can be, Dane full of personality and Audrey is a little heartbreaker!  What a fun, busy combination!  Here are some of my favorites from their entertaining session!

 

I loved everything about this session.  Elliott is such a cute lil guy....I have had the opportunity to photograph him since he was in his mommy's belly!  I can't believe that he is already 1 year old now! 

We had a perfect evening for photos....it ended up getting a little chilly, but I always like it that way over the heat!  The sun was amazing....and I couldn't stop using it in the photos!  I hope you enjoy them!!

 

Brandon and Sarah are also my brother-in-law and sister-in-law!  Like I said in the previous post, Gideon didn't like Aunt Kellie taking his photo too much either!  The light was so pretty, so I had to take a couple of mom and dad too!!

 

Monique and Joe are my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their three boys are so cute!  Preston is the oldest.....just starting kindergarten!  Where did that time go?  Ashton and Aiden are the other two cuties who look nothing alike but just happen to be twins!  They are never big fans of Aunt Kellie taking their pics, but we got a few good ones :)     (why are my nieces and nephews always the most difficult for me??)  (little stinkers.....)

 

What an adorable family this is!  With three busy kids, Lee and Ashley have their hands full!  All three of their little ones were so much fun and quite a challenge :)  At first, they wanted nothing to do with me.....but after a while they all warmed up.  I had to do a lot of chasing (and a little bribing), but it all worked out great in the end!  Enjoy these little cuties!!

 

Warren is kinda cute....and when I say kinda....I mean VERY!  He is such a happy, sweet baby and has big, beautiful blue eyes just like my little girl.  He just happens to be my cousins son and fits into our family just perfectly!  Every time I get to see him he makes my day.  Smiling non-stop, crawling everywhere and being as sweet as can be!  We always get a pic of him and Addy together whenever we get the chance, so I had to share one at the end of the post.  You can definitely tell that they are related! 

Watch out Aaron and Mary .... he may just be a stud one day!!!

Ready ... Set ... GO!

After rescheduling several times due to non-so-perfect weather, we finally were able to get together to take some fun family photos!  Shiloh was the winner from our "LOVE" Contest a few months back!  I can see why she won....her and Mike love their little kiddos so much....!  How couldn't they though...look how cute they are!!

What a sweet family this was!  The day was extremely hot and humid...not an ideal day for photos.  Since the family was visiting the area, we knew our time was limited to shoot their family session, so we decided to make the best of it!  Although no one had a ton of fun due to the scorching heat, we still enjoyed ourselves and got some great photos out of it!!

 

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this family!  Everytime we get together for a photo session, we have a blast!  These kids are so much fun and have so much personality!  Maddie is 3 isn't a huge fan of having her photo taken, but always gives a HUGE smile!  Taylor absolutely loves the attention.  7 going on 18 is the saying for her!  She kept on saying..."how about a photo like this?"...."maybe one over here?".  So Much Fun.  Enjoy these cuties!!

 

I absolutely adore this family.  It was ver last minute when I got the call to do this session, but when I heard what was in store, I could not resist!  They were all so sweet and so easy to get along with!! 

After the family photos, we took some photos of Kevin and Lamphanh while walking along their pier.  Lam had no idea what was going to happen next!

I am glad we were able to get several photos before the proposal....b/c afterwards everyone was too excited for photos :)
