Brett & Leslie were married yesterday!!! 

Congratulations you two!!!  Have fun in Mexico!

It was great to finally meet Rusty and Elishia.  It is always so much better putting a name to face and meeting in person!  That's why we love taking engagement photos for our wedding couples!  We had a nice, quite warm, summer day for their shoot.  We wandered around a pretty little park in Big Rapids finding great locations for photos.

Nick and Mandy had a gorgeous natural-themed wedding this past June.  The heat was pretty intense, but it ended up being a beautiful day!  Their wedding was filled with lots of love and laughter....surrounded by their closest friend and family.  We were so fortunate to be able to share it with them! 

Nick and Mandy allowed for lots of time for photos.....so it was so difficult for me to choose shots for the blog.........there were just so many great ones!!

 

All of the details were so simple and elegant.  Mandy's father made the benches and archway!

We were supposed to have rain, but we were blessed with big fluffy clouds instead :)

They were so happy!

What a beautiful evening we had for Katie & Josh's round 2 of engagement pics!  Their first session was downtown Grand Rapids in 18 degree weather!  We decided to take a few more in the summer so their awesome guest book would have lots of variety.  (Click here to view their winter session)  The light was a-ma-zing.....I could have shot in it all day if only it lasted that long!  We can't wait for Josh & Katie's vintage-inspired wedding this summer!

It was a beautiful day in Muskegon when we decided to take these photos!  The session actually turned into a mini-session because the sun went down way faster than anticipated.  It is so fun to watch Preston play with his little brothers........sometimes trying to make them laugh, sometimes pestering them....what big brothers do best!  Check out all of their cuteness below!!

Yes, they are 7 month old twins...but you can hardly tell!  Aiden is on the left and Ashton is on the right!

Braxton is such a sweet little guy.....I think that he kept on flirting with me with his eyes!  I met up with him and his parents at PJ Hoffmaster Park in Muskegon.  The weather was beautiful...we were very fortunate!  Braxton loved the camera...he was always smiling or making silly faces.  Below are some of my faves from his sand-filled shoot!

Nick & Mandy got married today!!!!

Brady is such a sweet little guy.  His parents said that he is never happy during photos....which seemed to be true.  Sometimes it works out best for me and the lil' person to play by ourselves...giving us some time to get to know one another.....which was the case here!  He just wanted me for himself :)  The weather was perfect for some swimming, which he ended up loving!  He would have swam all day if we let him!  Enjoy some of the previews below!  He is a little charmer...

We expected rain, but were so lucky!  No a drop till after all of the photos were done!  Someone was looking out for us that day! 

We had so much fun with Chris & Sam and their wonderful friends and family.....we felt so welcome all day and didn't want to leave later that night!  Chris and Sam were so happy to finally become husband and wife....it was written all over their faces.  Their day was perfect.....even into the night when they smashed cake into one another's face and hair and clothes and.....you get the point!  We felt so fortunate to be a part of it!

Sam's matron-of-honor just happens to be the bride at our first wedding....it was great catching up!  It is crazy how things have changed......(especially our style :) )

I loved Sam's bouquet.....it is def one of my faves this year!  Her matron-of-honor even made Sam's veil....so sweet!

I think that this is my favorite shot from the wedding....not sure why, but just love it!  (The girls look like they are on a mission!!)

We have been working hard trying to find new and better products!  Some of the new ones that we have started to implement are Wedding CD Cases, Wedding Proof Books, Senior Proof Books and Wedding Guest Books.  To help better explain, below are some photos of each item.  Most wedding packages include these items, but they can always be added on as well.

 

This is the new guest book.  Your favorite images from your e.shoot go into the book.  Empty space if left around the photos for friends and family to sign or leave you messages at your wedding.  A nice alternative to the traditional "sign-your-name-here" guest book.

This next set of photos is the new CD case!  This case is great.....it has a full wrap-around cover that is designed uniquely for you.  It has a magnetic close and is very durable.  The CD inside is also printed professionally with a nice glossy finish.  The case is used only for wedding CDs, but the CDs inside are used for all types of sessions.

The last product that is below is the new and improved proof book.  This book has all of your images from the wedding day.  There are 12 images to a page with the title of each below for easy access.  This book is 10x10 in size, with think, high-quality front and back covers designed just for you!  Each page is printed on photo paper then spiral-bound for a nice, clean finish.  This is also available for any other session in an 8x10 size.

Andy and Sarah found us at a bridal show in Fremont this past winter.  They live in Wisconsin, so it has been very difficult to get together for their engagement photos.  We finally were able to over Memorial Day Weekend...we were camping in Pentwater with friends, so Andy and Sarah met me up there for their shoot!  I found this location at dinner the night before, so I asked them to meet me at the awesome pine trees!  I ended loving this spot!  Their wedding will be here before we know it! 

 

 

It was a crazy hot day in Saugatuck, but it was great to finally meet this couple.  We have been chatting via email, etc for a while now...but I was glad to finally meet them in person.  Although it was hot and sticky out...we had lots of fun walking around the camp where Chris works......their wedding will also be there this fall!  It is going to be beautiful!!

 

Matt and Crystal are such a fun, youg, vibrant couple!  It was the hottest day so far this year and that didn't stop them from having a blast during their shoot!!!  We went to the camp that Crystal works at in Saugatuck, then visited the downtown area for some more shots!  We had lots of fun even though we were dying of heat exhaustion!!!  We finished the day at the local coffee shop where I had a yummy smoothie to cool me down :)

I LOVE the lighting in this one!!

Mackenzie turned 4 last January, but we are just taking her four year photos now that the weather is finally nice :)  Kenzie is the cutest little girl ever!!!  I may be a little biased because she is my niece.......Kenzie looks like me.....not so much like her dark-haired, dark-eyed, dark-skined mother  ( my sister ).  Jill is hoping that her next little girl will look just like her!  Kenzie cannot wait to meet her little sister....she loves little babies so much!
